Luana Floccuzio is a global business, brand and marketing communications architect and executive. In 2018, she began her role as Strategic Advisor to the Futures Foundation. She supports the leadership team and Board in creation and execution of the foundation’s strategic forward plan to help more people with developmental disabilities.
Luana has a successful track record of strategic and operational leadership in major corporations and startups, driving culture and brand transformations, business results and growth.
She recently worked with Global Team Ford and WPP in various roles including: catalyst working with Ford senior leadership in India creating/activating strategic approach to transform culture and business to customer experience driven brand; interim CSO working with Detroit and New York teams where she led strategy development and plan for re-launch of Lincoln; and as senior advisor to WPP leadership on operations initiatives.
Prior to that, she held Managing Director position at marketing, advertising, and communications organizations/agencies in Detroit and New York. Luana began her career at General Motors where she led the Saturn brand and launch strategy in the US and Canada; and held the roles as Director of GM Brand driving efforts to enhance corporate reputation, product consideration, and business results, and Director of Marketing Resources overseeing center of expertise and company-wide budget of over $2 billion, and providing counsel to global vehicle divisions.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University. Luana has been active in the community including: Adcraft Board Member and President, and Co-Founder of the D Show creative recognition program; and Detroit Creative Corridor Center Board Member and Small Business Mentor. She has been recognized by Crain’s as one of the Top 100 Leading Women in the Automotive Industry and one of the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Detroit.
