For our society as a whole, there is a fast-growing demand for caregiving and especially caregivers.
People with developmental disabilities have unique caregiving needs, which requires special caregiver skills. The importance and value of caregivers to individuals and families is not always well understood.
In collaboration with others, the Futures Foundation is working to further the understanding of caregiver work value, help increase the caregiver workforce, and inspire better caregiving resource solutions for people with special needs and their families.
