Mickie Miller is Director, Global Non-Production Purchasing for Lear Corporation. She is an accomplished leader with over 25 years of automotive industry experience in various roles, always challenging herself and others to continuously improve and innovate, bringing transparency and focus, and driving bottom line results.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BBA from Northwood University. Mickie served as Vice President, Global Procurement, at Eagle Ottawa prior to its acquisition by Lear Corporation in 2015 – where Mickie serves in her current role. Lear is a Fortune 500 company engaged in the manufacture and distribution of automotive seating and electrical distribution systems. As she has done in past roles, she is spearheading the transformation of non-production purchasing from a functional focus to an integrated strategic partner within the global organization.
Mickie creates a vision and translates it to reality through sound strategy development. She intuitively brings clarity to complex components and focus to a path forward bringing others together to expand thoughts and build excitement and momentum to drive material benefits to the business. Mickie tirelessly leads by example with a genuine passion for continuous improvement and innovation and new and different ways to look at the business.
She enjoys helping others to learn and grow not just in their professional careers, but in their personal lives as well. This is demonstrated in her community involvement. Mickie recently joined the Board of the Futures Foundation.
