Dennis Bott is CEO of MORC, Inc. MORC is a human services agency that coordinates long-term supports for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities and the elderly in Southeast Michigan.
Dennis has been with MORC since 1976. He worked directly on early community placement initiatives including participating in the closure of many of the state’s largest institutions as part of the organization’s pioneering development unit. He then assisted with MORC’s transition from an agency of the State of Michigan to a not-for-profit entity in 1996. He has been active in promoting the growth of the organization as the Co-author of the successful HUD grant, “Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities,” and the Lead Author of the successful Michigan DCH grant Home and Community Based Services for Elderly and Disabled (MI Choice).
He served as Chief Operating Officer responsible for overseeing the operations of the company, including finance, information technology, contracts and reimbursement until being name Chief Executive Officer in April 2016.
Dennis has completed numerous presentations to audiences seeking information on the work MORC does and how it helps people maximize their potential. It’s included professional seminars on creative treatment, housing and systems change. He is the recipient of the ARC of Oakland County President’s Award.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University.
In his role as CEO, he is a member of the MORC Board. Dennis has also been a member of the Futures Foundation Board since 2016.
